This program includes two pieces. The first piece will be a new string trio piece by New York based Azerbaijani composer Ulkar Aghayeva. Ulkar's piece is her tribute to the beloved composer Fikret Amirov, and it quotes and revolves around the theme of "The Joy of Scheherazade" from his ballet "1001 nights." The second piece will be a performance of Beethoven's string trio in C minor, op. 9 no.3.
Music will be performed by Daniel Hass on cello, Tess Krope on viola, and Shaleah Feinstein on violin.
Doors open at 7:30pm. Music starts at 8pm.
