Corigliano: The Red Violin Caprices
Both Telemann and Bach led the way in composing for solo instruments. Corigliano took all of this influence and more to create his music for the film 'The Red Violin', and came out with something so outrageous that each time I perform it I'm surprised I have any violin left to play on.
