Join us for a unique program celebrating the Iranian-Jewish experience through live music and food in a cozy home and garden in Atwater Village. Meaning harmony in Farsi, "Hamahangi" refers to the blending of sounds and influences that we'll experience in this program, including poetry, songs and prayers in Hebrew, Farsi and English.
Chloe Pourmorady will perform original music on strings and vocals, accompanied by Ava Nahas on percussion and Matin Eshaghi on tar. Their music is laced with the spirituality of ancient cultures, intended to bring inspiration, healing and beauty to the ears of listeners.
Home chef and cookbook author Tannaz Sasooni will complement this program with a filling mostly vegetarian spread of food and wine also inspired by her Iranian-Jewish heritage (included in the ticket price). Special thanks to LA Audiophile for providing sound.
