Saturday 23 March 2024 7:30pm, music This is the 79th SOLOX concert at the Red Lantern at Milo, since 2010, and the 30th with GroupMuse. EXPECTING 10-16 PAID ATTENDEES.begins at 8pm: Susanna Mendlow is the principal cellist with Kassia, a long established chamber music ensemble, with ties to Levine Conservatory. Ms. Mendlow is Adjunct Professor Washington Adventist University. Pianist Mark Di Pinto holds DMA & MM from Eastman School of Music, BA Columbia School of Music; he is Associate Professor of Piano at Washington Adventist University. Glen Echo Heights House Concert & Potluck. SOLOX house concert: Red Lantern at Milo just off Massachusetts Av in Woodacres. Ms. Mendlow is associated with Levine Conservatory and recently participated in a Composition Master Class, also a member of the widely popular Kassia sextet, chamber ensemble.

Program: Cello/Piano Classical Duo's, possibly a Piano Solo; Spanish/Argentine: DeFalla Cassado Piazzolla Ginastera Granados

Light PotLuck Dinner Buffet. Host will provide two hot hors d'oeuvres & punch for potluck reception during intermission & beginning, when doors open. Guests are welcome to bring food and wine to share as well; if considering a sweet, think about fruit instead of processed sugar. Music begins at 30 minutes after doors open, please be on time, 2 sets with 1 short intermission, or one longer set. Guests most welcome and encouraged to bring dish/drink to share/potluck, please consider bringing wine if you use it. Stemware/Ice Buckets/Filtered Water Provided.
