This is a Groupmuse Night Out

Explore the wider world of music outside Groupmuse with exclusive discounts to local concerts.

In their second concert of the 2023-2024 season Chameleon Arts Ensemble offers a poignant program featuring four works of memory and elegy, love and loss. Puccini’s Crisantemi for string quartet and Gordon Jacob’s Sextet for piano and winds are musical bouquets in memory of friends, and Charlotte Bray’s Fire Burning in Snow *for soprano and chamber ensemble is a reflection on obsession, desire, solitude, and lost love. Dedicated “to the memory of a great artist,” *Rachmaninoff*’s *Piano Trio No. 2 – the élégiaque – was composed in a flurry of emotion in just five weeks, revealing celestial glimpses of his mentor in a rapturous outpouring of pathos and passion.

Tickets to this concert typically cost ~$40, but we've got them for our Groupmuse community for only $12 (and $5 for Supermusers)!

More information about this concert can be found on CAE's website.

Groupmuse ticket buyers are instructed to pick up their tickets at will call within 30 minutes of the show's start time.
