🎉 Welcome back to the Century Club of California, a historic women's clubhouse from the late 1800s.
🎹 We host Groupmuse concerts in our beautiful ballroom, which boasts a recently refurbished Steinway D Concert Grand on its stage!
🥂 Club members are around to talk about the history of this magnificent building and offer free drinks and white wine to guests.
This is the second program in our six-concert series during this season, and we are excited to welcome GRAMMY AWARD WINNING violinist Mads Tolling, a former member of The Turtle Island Quartet and Stanley Clarke’s band. His local connections run deep, with regular appearances with so many local artists, and a recent commission from the Oakland Symphony!

Where does this music come from?
Violinist Mads Tolling, now known for his Grammy Award winning jazz albums and his tours with rock superstars, grew up in Denmark practicing the classics by Vivaldi and Kreisler. This program, hosted by Tolling and pianist Ian Scarfe, will take the audience on a journey through various classical and contemporary musical forms, and also a journey through the duo's lives and experiences.
