Saturday 17 February 2024 7:30pm, music begins at 8pm: Sam Post is the principal pianist with Kassia, a long established chamber music ensemble, with ties to Levine Conservatory. Glen Echo Heights House Concert & Potluck. SOLOX house concert: Red Lantern at Milo just off Massachusetts Av in Woodacres. Mr. Post is associated with Levine Conservatory and recently participated in a Composition Master Class, also a member of the widely popular Kassia sextet, chamber ensemble. A few years ago, he was commissioned by San Francisco Symphony for compositions. He recently premiered his composition for the full sextet, closing an exceptional performance at Redeemer on MacArthur Blvd. This is the 77th SOLOX concert at the Red Lantern at Milo, since 2010, and the 28th with GroupMuse.

Light PotLuck Dinner Buffet. Host will provide two hot hors d'oeuvres & punch for potluck reception during intermission & beginning, when doors open. Guests are welcome to bring food and wine to share as well; if considering a sweet, think about fruit instead of processed sugar. Music begins at 30 minutes after doors open, please be on time, 2 sets with 1 short intermission, or one longer set. Guests most welcome and encouraged to bring dish/drink to share/potluck, please consider bringing wine if you use it. Stemware/Ice Buckets/Filtered Water Provided.
