In preparation for the "On The Road" Tour, we have a kick-off show of classic "Straight Ahead" jazz music with an oustanding quartet of musicians.
George Kahn - piano

John Leftwich - bass
Kendall Kay - drums
We will be performing jazz standards, as well as George's original compositions from his TEN albums. The show will feature songs from The George Kahn Quartet "DreamCatcher" album.

Where does this music come from?
This concert will harken back to the days when jazz quartets travelled the country playing week-long gigs in clubs across the country, often in basements of restaurants or back rooms in bars. The improvisatory nature of jazz brings the music to life in the 21st Century.
