KAON Quartet is a convergence of four talented NYC based string players who are both performers and composers. Concetta Abbate on violin, Lily Desmond on violin, Alec Santamaria on viola, and Jennifer Shaw on cello come together for a mesmerizing performance of music inspired by cross genre influences of both classical and folk/fiddle styles.

The concert will showcase original compositions by the members of the group, as well as selections from some of their favorite composers. Their diverse backgrounds and individual styles create a dynamic and vibrant sound that is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who attend.
