Come gather friends: at long last, Heavy Meadow is releasing his 2nd album — The Magician. His first was The Fool, his following will be the High Priestess, and he’ll keep doing it until he’s made an album for every one of the 22 major arcana in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot.
We’ll start the night with some solo Bach, performed by the magnificent cellist Marza Wilks. She’ll be followed by the dazzling guitar pyrotechnics of Milo Gonzalez and his band. Then Heavy takes the stage for a live set. Then we’ll listen to the first half of the new album.
And it’s all going down in the raddest downtown LA pad you’ve ever seen. You gotta be there.
