This all Schubert program, performed by Alexander Rudin on cello and piano, and Ekaterina Derzhavina on piano will take place at the FortePiano Music Company, which not only has an immense showroom for all of their pianos for sale but also has a lovely recital hall.

Rudin has won prizes in many international competitions and has performed as a solo cellist with such orchestras as the Royal Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony, and the Danish Radio Orchestras. Derzhavina, who began training on piano at the age of six, is also an multiple award winning pianist, who has signed to German record label 'Profil' and released many successful classical albums.

Presenting Partner sponsor Support Fund for Musicians of Russia, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that organizes concerts of distinguished musicians trained in Russia and the former Soviet Republics, at different venues in New York and North-Eastern US. Their mission is to promote education and awareness of classical music and of Russian/Soviet performing traditions for various audiences, including children.
