This is a groupmuse
A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.
Hosts
We're hosting our first GroupMuse in Beacon as a way to meet neighbors and enjoy ethereal music -- we're excited to be paired with a harpist and a flautist who will be playing some classic Celtic hits.
Come ready to nosh on cheese, crackers and other simple snacks and please feel free to bring some of your own. We'll have hot cider and wine.
People who need seating get priority, and we'll have pillows & blankets for folks on the floor.
Notes -
1) We live on Verplanck near the Kube Center. If driving, please park on a side street (i.e. Eliza St)
2) Come into the house through the side door, via the driveway
3) We have a cat, Walter
4) Please don't attend if feeling sick
What's the music?
We will perform traditional Welsh, Cornish, Irish, Manx, Breton, and Scottish tunes, telling interesting stories and background on the music.
