Groupmuse is thrilled to be partnering up with Presenting Partner Music Before 1800, the longest running early music concert series in New York City, for the entirety of their 2024-25 season. They have been presenting vocal and instrumental chamber music of the highest caliber at the stunning Corpus Christi Church for over 45 years, and with over 500 concerts under their belts, you'll be sure to be wowed by programs they present!
We've only got a small stack of 20 discounted tickets available for each of the 6 performances they've offered our members this season, so get yours before it's too late! Average ticket cost is typically $45, but we've got them for only $15, 1/3 of the price!
For this first concert, the heralded Belgian ensemble Vox Luminis will present a new companion piece to Brahmsβ classic work Deutsches Requiem, a Baroque meditation on mortality and faith that pays homage to the master while presenting a very different German Requiem: one animated by the emotions of the Lutheran Baroque.
Tickets will be randomly assigned. Groups wishing to sit together should purchase tickets under a single reservation.
Groupmuse ticket buyers are instructed to pick up their tickets at will call prior to the performance.
Those requiring the elevator are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the performance's start time.
