Adam Moezinia moved to New York City in 2010 to study at Juilliard and has since then played with many greats in the jazz idiom including Cecile McLorin Salvant, Freddy Cole, George Coleman, Mike LeDonne and many others, at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, The 1905 and The Black Cat.

Adam's group, "The Folk Element Trio" is rooted in the tradition of jazz but reaches beyond to incorporate different styles of folk music from around the world including West Africa, the Caribbean, The UK and Appalachia. They released their debut album in April of 2021 to rave reviews and have since been performing all around the country. They will be performing in Los Angeles as part of a 5 week west coast tour. Joining Adam will be Emiliano Lasansky on bass and Marcello Carelli on drums.
