The Poore Astronomers, tenor Drew Ivarson and lutenist Daniel Keene, present a program in celebration of the life and music of John Dowland (1563-1626) as it will be the English composer/lutenist’s 400th anniversary of his death. All music will be performed on period instruments and sung with reconstructed pronunciation! The program will include an array of lute songs from Dowland’s four books of songs as well as a handful of solos for the lute.
