Unlock a night of adventurous chamber music with Earplay’s The Unanswered Question — a thoughtfully curated program that pairs Charles Ives’s evocative masterpiece (in a new 2025 arrangement) with a fascinating mix of contemporary works. Anchored by the haunting, philosophical landscapes of Ives’s iconic piece, the evening also features the world-premiere What Lies at Dream’s End by Emma Logan, alongside two compelling works by John Harbison (Prelude–Variations and Chaconne) and Roger Reynolds’s richly textured Shadowed Narrative, performed by Earplay’s dynamic ensemble of winds, strings, piano, and conductor at Noe Valley Ministry.
Thanks to Groupmuse Nights Out, 50% off tickets are available, making it easier to experience this bold and evocative program of American and contemporary music live. We’re excited to help connect our community with performances that challenge, inspire, and reward deep listening — don’t miss your chance to hear this intriguing concert at a special price!
