This concert takes place at the Nicholas and Eugenia Taubman Hall of Music, National Museum of American History on Constitution Ave between 12th and 14th St. NW (Metro: Federal Triangle). Upon arrival at the museum, please proceed to check-in at the Will Call table in the Constitution Ave lobby then proceed to the 3rd floor to the venue. Seating is GA, first come first served.
A Groupmuse Night Out in our nation's capital, at the National Museum of American History?! What an absolute treat of an experience! We are thrilled to be partnering up with the Smithsonian Chamber Music Society again this season with featured musical masterpieces from the early 17th century to the middle of the 20th, played on some of the world’s most highly prized musical instruments. Come early for a pre-concert talk one hour prior to the concert with Kenneth Slowik, SCMS artistic director and recipient of the Smithsonian Distinguished Scholar Award.
