Experience Beethoven at his most inventive and intimate in a dazzling evening with pianist Gilles Vonsattel. On April 12 at 8 PM, the stunning acoustics of Zipper Hall at the Colburn School set the stage for three masterful piano sonatas: the fiery Sonata in D Major, Op. 10 No. 3, the luminous “à Thérèse” Sonata, Op. 78, and the visionary late Sonata in A Major, Op. 101. Known for playing with “dazzling technique” and poetic depth, Vonsattel brings Beethoven’s bold contrasts and lyrical beauty vividly to life in a program that spans the composer’s creative evolution.

Presented by Camerata Pacifica, a chamber music organization celebrated for its intimate venues, innovative programming, and world-class artists, this recital embodies their mission to transform how audiences experience live classical music. For over three decades, Camerata Pacifica has built a vibrant community of curious listeners through dynamic performances that showcase the emotional immediacy of chamber music. Grab discounted tickets through Groupmuse's Nights Out and join us for a rare chance to hear Beethoven’s genius unfold up close in one of Los Angeles’s most beloved concert halls.
