Joe Hill was the greatest song-maker of the golden age of American labor consciousness. The bosses feared him and the workers revered him.

Executed by the state of Utah in 1915 for a crime he didn't commit, Joe Hill never really died -- he just changed forms, from flesh and blood to movement martyr and angel archetype.

Heavy Meadow and Jake Chapman are in a band called Brother Man and they're here to sing his song and tell his tale.

Filmmaker Monty Montgomery is making a documentary about Heavy and Chappy's journey up the West Coast and across the country to champion Joe Hill's legacy at a moment when we need it bad!
