Pegasus: The Orchestra launches its 10th Anniversary Season with an evening of music built for momentum, color, and sheer orchestral excitement.
The program opens with the sparkling overture to Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila, followed by Nielsen’s bold and restless Symphony No. 1. After intermission, pianist Reed Tetzloff takes the stage for Prokofiev’s electrifying Piano Concerto No. 3—a virtuosic tour de force filled with razor-sharp rhythms, lyrical surprises, and brilliant piano-orchestra interplay.
Led by conductor Karén Hakobyan, Pegasus brings these three works together for a concert that moves from theatrical sparkle to symphonic force to full-throttle virtuosity.
