🎻 When words aren’t enough, music takes over. Kaufman Music Center and Concert Artists Guild present pianist Evren Ozel and violinist Joshua Brown in Where Words End, a program inspired by Marcel Proust’s idea that music can express what language leaves unsaid. The evening brings together Brahms, Ysaÿe, Debussy, Chausson, Schumann, and Fauré, with each work carrying its own connection to literature, poetry, friendship, memory, and longing. Hear Debussy’s evocative Preludes, Schumann’s mercurial Kreisleriana, Chausson’s sweeping Poème, and Fauré’s luminous Violin Sonata—a piece famously woven into Proust’s In Search of Lost Time.
