Experience three timeless musical masterpieces through a fresh lens with Vivo Performing Arts upcoming show featuring Nemanja Radulović & Double Sens at NEC’s Jordan Hall on Friday, November 13 at 8 PM. Serbian-born, Paris-based violinist Nemanja Radulović brings together a close-knit ensemble of Serbian and French musicians in Double Sens, a chamber orchestra built around the creative exchange between cultures. Known for his electrifying virtuosity, expressive freedom, and charismatic performances, Radulović leads an ensemble that approaches classical music with both deep respect for tradition and a thrilling sense of spontaneity.

The ensemble share Radulović’s own arrangement of Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” Sonata, created expressly for his ensemble. Gramophone says it’s “an exhilarating ride, there’s no question.”

Also on the program are two virtuosic works by Bach: the Chaconne from Partita No. 2, and the Concerto for Violin, Strings, and Continuo in D minor. The concerto—reconstructed from a lost work, possibly for organ—is one of the most fiery and intense works in Bach’s entire catalogue and will be jaw-dropping in Radulović and Double Sens’ hands.
