Drinking policy
Bring your own drinks

We invite you to a casual evening of elegant music, with drinks, snacks, and a "backstage pass" with one of the Bay-Area's popular young classical musicians.
Pianist Ian Scarfe has performed around the world, and is known for his engaging performances and insightful commentary. He will talk us though his program of music spanning the past 300 years, with stories of the composers, their works, and the small details buried in the music that give it that special magic.

Ian will be performing Mozart's "Kegelstatt", in a trio with Clarinet and Viola.

Parking is very limited in our neighborhood, so please consider riding BART to the Balboa Park station and then hopping into an UBER. Alternatively, MUNI #23 and #43 stops near our house. If you prefer to drive, please allow 10 minutes to find parking- there is usually plenty of party on Monterey Blvd, which is a short walk from our house.

Note to Groupmuse Host Nikki S.
--Yesterday I requested permission to attend this groupmuse gathering on April 4, but I have not yet been informed if my RSVP was received (3/31). What should I do? Just one person, with no other guests. Thank you.

Nikki Stoddart, about 7 years ago

Hi Harry! I accepted your request yesterday and sent you a message. Di you get it it? If you still want to come, you are more than welcome. We can make room for 1 more.

HI everyone! So looking forward to meeting all of you! I'm so excited to announce that we are going to have two special guests joining Ian! Rachel Patrick will be on violin, and Matthew Boyles on Clarinet. Both amazing amazing musicians. We are going to be in for a treat!

Hi, Nikki, I tried to acknowledge your confirmation of my reservation earlier in the week. Meanwhile, I am waiting to be informed of the address of your event--that information is ordinarily released about 24 hours before the posted time. I also sent an e-mail to the address I was given for groupmuse, so this message may be redundant. (I'm writing because I didn't see my name on the list of attendees, and I noticed that there are already five people on the waitlist.)

Hey Harry! Is there a way to contact you privately with my address? I don't see you on the waitlist either. If you add yourself to waitlist I can add you I think.
