This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

The Society for the Advancement of Social Studies (SASS!) is proud to present a series of free lectures designed to both entertain and enlighten. We meet at The Bedford, the 2nd Tuesday of each month to discuss historical topics that you probably knew at one point but don’t remember anymore. Plus, there will be drink specials!

This month, we're thrilled to be partnering with Groupmuse - a social network that connects classical musicians to local audiences through concert house parties (!) - and will have a real live string quartet accompanying the evening's final lecture!

**NOTE: doors at at 7 and the talk starts at 7:30, so come early if you want to catch the pre-groupmuse lectures! The music will only last about 25 minutes, as it is following the themed talks for the evening, which focus on revolutionary music. Sam Bodkin is one of the speakers!
