Hello all, looking forward to Friday! Please don't forget to update your RSVP status if your Friday evening plans change and you won't be able to come after all. Since spots are limited, it's always helpful to have an updated RSVP list!
Jane, Billy, and I will be playing some Dohnanyi as the headlining entrée piece of the night for you! It's a yummy piece for string trio that features each instrument's overtones of auburn and autumn.
A bit about us - all three of us play in the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra. Jane is the asst. conductor of the UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra (yes, she's a violist *and* a conductor!). Billy is a Statistics grad student at Cal, but is also a fierce violinist. I'm a freelancing cellist and cello teacher based in Berkeley.
See you all soon!
(Thanks Will, for hosting! Your cowbell debut will have to wait for the next groupmuse...sorry! ;) )
