My friend Yelena Beriyeva is easily one of the best classical pianists I've ever heard, and I've heard more than a few. I could go on and on about her accolades, but I'll just say the Boston music community is lucky to have her and that I know her performance of Pictures at an Exhibition will move and impress you.

She is also a warm and generous person, and has agreed to donate the proceeds of the concert to helping my wife reach her fundraising goal for the Best Buddies Bike Challenge, a 100 mile ride to Cape Cod.

As I said earlier, I'm a pianist, but I didn't mention I am a jazz musician and composer, so I'll also be sharing a bit of the music that I love and know best!
