Host

Greetings, friends! Join us for a musical tour of town and country, through 1730s Paris and its idyllic environs. The first half of this program will focus on the sophisticated chamber style familiar to the Parisian arts crowd of the day, and the second half on the rustic, pastoral style that would later capture the imagination of Marie Antoinette. Featuring Jessica Park (violin), Jude Ziliak (violin) and Dylan Sauerwald (harpsichord).

What's the music?

Polyphemus Early music

Jean-Marie Leclair: Première Récréation de Musique

Joseph Bodin de Boismortier: Ballets de Village
