Host

Come and join us for some great music and a grand time! I'll provide some snacks, a piano, and a bit of wine. Please bring a bottle of whatever you like or some snacks to share! This will be my first Groupmuse. Woot!

What's the music?

New program!

Though French music was the original plan, we hope you'll go along with our choice to highlight some Viennese masterworks. Beethoven's Piano Sonata op. 109 is a piece of incredible contrasts, where otherworldly dreams meet volcanic outbursts. Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata (written for the rarely-heard arpeggione but played frequently on cello) is a stunning slice of profound melancholy and spirited dances.
