All fees and musician payments for this groupmuse are being donated to the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts relief fund. The musicians have graciously offered to donate all the money raised, and Groupmuse will also donate its $3 reservation fees, so 100% of proceeds are going to the fund. If you can't make this concert, you can still donate to their crowdfunding campaign here.
We are all searching for ways to help the families and friends of the victims and those who survived the devastating Oakland fire. Groupmuses have a beautiful way of bringing together people from different communities to love and support each other and we could think of no better way to bring our friends together after such a tragedy. We are opening up The Nook once again to host an event from which 100% of money raised go directly to the youcaring fundraiser set up for the fire victims and survivors.
This fire has hit so close to home for many of us and gathering to show support to each other and our community is the best path forward. We look forward to seeing many of you on Monday.
