Hello! I'm excited to meet you all and welcome you to our home for an outstanding musical performance. The apartment is a short walk from the Brookline Hills T stop.
Our Trio includes: Julia Bomfim (Brazil) on violin, Eduardo Mercuri (Brazil) on guitar and mandolin and Kan Yanabe (Japan) on percussion.
They will play a fusion of classical and popular Brazilian music of different styles, such as samba, bossa nova and choro. For this upcoming concert they will be making a tribute to Pixinguinha, one of the greatest Choro composers.
I'll have some kind of desert and a few bottles of wine. Feel free to bring drinks or snacks to share.
