What's the music?
The program will include Mendelssohn Variations Serieuses and Moscheles Sonata Melancolique, op.49, and selection of movements from Beethoven Sonata in C Major, op.53, "Waldstein" and Schumann Sonata No.1, f sharp minor, op.11. The program highlights the personal and musical connection of German Romantic composers, which will be commented on by the performer along the pieces performed.
