This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

This is my first time hosting a groupmuse. I've attended two in NYC and was always so moved by musicians sharing their talent in such a personal and intimate way. I felt transported into someone's salon in a Jane Austen novel or Gertrude Stein's living room. Except, minus the pretension!

I live with my husband, toddler, and cat - all of whom will be joining us! I'm honored to be one of Philly's first hosts, and to hopefully kickoff a successful city partnership. We'll supply some beverages and snacks. Feel free to BYO. All you need to do is show up, have fun and hear some great music!

What's the music?

J.S. Bach: Suite #2 in d minor for solo cello
Garth Knox: Fuga Libre
Eugene Ysaye: Sonata in c minor, op. 28
Astor Piazzolla: Tango etudes #1 and #3
Henri Vieuxtemps: Capriccio in c minor
