This is a groupmuse

A live concert in a living room, backyard, or another intimate space. They're casual and friendly, hosted by community members.

Host

We live on Bay Street, just across from Fort Mason. It's relatively easy to get here by bus, and parking is easier than in many SF neighborhoods. We hope this will be a low key event for a wide range of ages and interests. We'll serve wine, beer and a very few snacks - but feel free to bring something along to eat or drink if you'd like. The idea is to chill out for an hour or so either as you come back from a weekend of fun - maybe out of town - or to relax before dinner on your last evening of the weekend.

What's the music?

Matthew Boyles Clarinet

Pianist Ian Scarfe is joined by friends for an evening of chamber music.

With fellow pianist Amy Zanrosso, guests will enjoy:
MAURICE RAVEL - RAPSODIE ESPAGNOLE - FOR FOUR HANDS ON ONE PIANO!
on Craig's stunning Steinway B...

Also on the program is:
JOHANNES BRAHMS - VIOLIN SONATA IN G MAJOR, OP. 78
featuring the ever engaging, virtuous AND virtuosic violinist Rachel Patrick.

ROBERT SCHUMANN - FANTASY PIECES FOR CLARINET AND PIANO, OP. 73
featuring clarinetist Matthew Boyles

As well as selections from:
OLIVIER MESSIAEN - VINGT REGARDS SUR L'ENFANT JESUS
probably of the most mind-bending and exotic Christmas music you will hear this season.
