What's the music?

I am so thrilled to be sharing a program I am very passionate about, thanks to Fumio's generosity in hosting me at this Groupmuse! I chose this repertoire last fall when deciding what to program for my Master's degree graduation recital at Juilliard. Knowing that this would be my last recital at school inspired me to choose pieces that have made a great impact on me, because this is the kind of music that sparked my love for music in the first place.

I hope you will join me!

Bach Partita No. 6 in E minor, BWV 830
I. Toccata

Beethoven Sonata in A Major, Op. 101

Konishita Makiko 6 Fragments for Piano (excerpts)

Liszt -Wagner "Tannhauser Overture"
