Host
KnoxTrio, an emerging flute, cello, and piano trio dedicated to contemporary music, presents works from their upcoming performance of Footprints, an interdisciplinary project involving music from that explores sonic representations of the natural world and humans' precarious place in it.
This GroupMuse concert will feature works by J. S. Bach (solo flute partita in A minor), Takashi Yoshimatsu (two solo piano works), Victoria Romano (World Premiere), and ending with the masterwork Vox Balanae by George Crumb, which had its world premiere in New York City in 1971. You wont want to miss this intimate, dramatic, and beautiful program!
