Hi all and thanks for checking out my first Groupmuse! My name is Mary, and I'm super excited to be hosting The Adelphi Quartet in my Glover Park living room!
In their own words, "The Adelphi Quartet made its home in the DC metro area back in 2017, born from a dream of having a string quartet made up of underrepresented minorities with exceptional talent aimed to inspire and transform lives through the power of classical music. The Adelphi Quartet has already given over 20 recitals, been named Quartet in Residence at the National Orchestral Institute and Festival at the University of Maryland, gone into over 15 schools, and they’re not stopping now."
I'll have a couch and a bunch of floor space for you to grab pillows/blankets (or bring your own!) to cozy up and listen to an amazing quartet. Feel free to bring your own beverages or snacks. I look forward to hosting friends and also getting to know new Groupmusers in the community! I welcome everyone and hope you'll join me in sharing a night of good music and good vibes!
