Host

From the musicians: "Tenor Morgan Manifacier and Guitarist & Lutenist Daniel Keene celebrate a program of all English songs on period instruments. Featuring the poetic lute songs of John Dowland as well as Benjamin Britten's compelling Songs from the Chinese and Folksong Arrangements. Throughout his life, Britten was greatly inspired by the music and the poetry of John Dowland, and you will find remarkable connections between the spirit of Dowland’s lute songs to the word-setting of Benjamin Britten. This event will be an opportunity to hear two sound worlds that are 3 centuries apart, in a setting that brings them together as one."

From the host: I am new to the village and looking forward to host local classical musicians and music lovers. Little ones above the crying age are welcome! :)
