Dear Groupmusers,
Come and enjoy a baroque chamber music program in our charming bungalow! Corda Nova Baroque presents Telemann: The Traveler. Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767) worked in several cities across Germany in the course of his career as a musician and composer. His compositional style was greatly influenced by a trip to Paris in 1737, and his subsequent, marvelous "Paris Quartets" were a great commercial success. Corda Nova Baroque musicians include Gabriel Benton, harpsichord, Edmond Chan, baroque violin, and Amy Domingues, viola da gamba.

What's the music?

Corda Nova Baroque violin, viola da gamba, harpsichord

Trio Sonata F Major TWV 42:F10
Overture No. 1 in G minor, TWV 32:5 (harpsichord solo)
TWV 41:g3 Violin Sonata, 1728 in 12 Sonate Metodiche , Hamburg
Fantasia in G Major TWV 40:31, 1735 Hamburg (gamba solo)
Trio Sonata G minor TWV 42:g10
