How does Portuguese folk music sound like? Is fado the only music style that Portuguese use to express their culture of "saudade", nostalgia, emotion and way of living?
Well... in this performance you will have the opportunity to listen Joana Carvalhas (known as The Tiny Musician) singing and playing on her fiddle some Portuguese folk songs and some of her original music. Touring from Portugal, she has been composing several tunes for the past years: a mix of her Portuguese heritage with some folklore and jazz elements.
The result? An evening of unique music you haven't heard before, that will not only make you understand how "saudade" feels but also how happy and touching can life be.
