Chloé hasn't set up their next groupmuse, yet.
Chloé began playing cello at the age of 6 at the Conservatoire de Saint-Etienne, France. She also studied oboe for ten years there. She obtained her Diploma of End of Musical studies in cello at the age of 17, and entered the same year at the Lyon Conservatory, in Augusin Lefebvre’s studio.
She then decided to continue her studies in Canada, and was accepted at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University on full scholarship. She studied there with professors Matt Haimovitz and Brian Manker. In 2016, she received her Bachelor of Cello Performance with the mention « Outstanding Achievement in Cello ».
During her studies, she had the chance to participate in many masterclasses with renowned cellists such as Emmanuelle Bertrand, Jean Deplace, Anne Gastinel, Fred Sherry, Philippe Muller, Ronald Leonard, Ralph Kirshbaum. She is also a substitute cellist at Orchestre Symphonique du Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean and winner of several prizes and grants awarded by l’Association Française du Violoncelle, le Lions Club International, le Concours du Royaume.
For her Bachelor and Master degree, she has been the recipient of a cello made by Patrick Robin, on loan by the association « Talents&Violoncelles ». Most recently, she was a finalist in the McGill Schulich School of Music concerto competition, as well as substitute cellist with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
Graduated with a master degree from McGill, she is now pursuing a Chamber Music Artist Certificate at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, recipient of a full scholarship for two years.
Since 2019, she has been playing a cello made by Frank Ravatin, generously loaned by sponsor Roger Dubois, from Canimex foundation.
