The extraordinary musicality and electrifying virtuosity of Bulgarian pianist Nadejda Vlaeva has been praised by many world-famous musicians. Lazar Berman called her talent "God-Given," and Maestro Hans Graf observed that "her musicality and the depth of her interpretation amazed me."

At the age of 15 she won 1st prize at the Liszt Competition in Lucca, Italy. Later she also won 3rd prize at the Liszt Competition in Budapest. She has since toured Asia, Europe, and throughout America, including performances at Carnegie's Zankel Hall and Lincoln Center.

Nadejda Vlaeva is a Hyperion Recording Artist and has recorded six internationally released CDs. Her recording of the complete Bach/Saint-Saƫns Transcriptions was a BBC Music Magazine Instrumental CD of the Month. Her Liszt CD received the Grand Prix 'Liszt' du Disque. Her latest CD, "Piano Music of Sergei Bortkiewicz" was a Musicweb Recording of the Year and contains several world premieres.
