About

Ariana, originally from Seattle, Washington, is the newest member of the Carpe Diem String Quartet. She also plays with the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra and the Pacific Crest Trio. A recent graduate from the Juilliard School with a Master of Music degree in cello performance, Ariana grew up surrounded by a musical family and has been playing chamber music since she was eight years old. She has attended numerous summer festivals such as the Spoleto USA Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Aspen Music Festival, and Le Domaine Forget. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. In addition to playing the cello, Ariana loves to sing, dance, act, and play guitar!
