About

Born in 1992 in Pingtung Taiwan and currently resides in New York, Lu is the Music and Culture Ambassador of the Taiwanese Council of Art and Education and an MM candidate at Mannes College – The New School. Lu received BM from Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in 2014 and was awarded “Young Premier Artist” award. She has performed in UK, the United States, and throughout Asia as a solo pianist and a collaborative musician. Recent appearances include regular performances as an Artist-In-Residence at The Hollows (Williamsburg, Brooklyn 2017), Robert Rauschenberg: Among Friends at MoMA Theatre (New York 2017); Helga’s Favorite Things at National Sawdust (New York, 2017); Young Artists Showcase at The Strathmore (Baltimore, 2017); The Mannes Sound Festival at National Bohemian Hall (New York 2016).
