About

Victoria Suchodolski is a Massachusetts-based pianist and harpsichordist who has performed throughout New England as both a soloist and collaborative artist. She has performed at Steinert Hall, Distler Performance Hall at Tufts University, Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music and as part of the Wellesley Free Library Concert Series, the Summer Concert Series at Phillips Exeter Academy and the Taylor House Music and Art Series in Jamaica Plain, among others. Victoria has performed in harpsichord masterclasses for Luc Beauséjour at Orford Centre D'Arts and for Marco Mencoboni at Piccola Accademia di Montisi. She has performed Bach concertos on both harpsichord and piano with the Euridice Baroque Ensemble of Amherst, MA and with members of the Lublin Philharmonic as part of the 17th International Piano Festival in Nałęczów, Poland. Victoria has collaborated with Washington D.C. and Boston-based composer William Kenlon, having played numerous of his chamber music works, art songs and solo piano pieces. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in piano performance from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied with Sergey Schepkin and Ralph Zitterbart.

In addition to performing, Victoria has a thriving teaching career. She has served on the board of the New England Piano Teachers’ Association (NEPTA) and was the chair of NEPTA’s Mildred Freiberg Competition for middle school aged pianists for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Her piano students have performed on NEPTA’s recital series and have earned high marks in the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program examinations. Victoria has served on the faculties of Kingsley Montessori School, Newton Music Academy and the Performing Arts Center of Metrowest.

Victoria is currently pursuing a Master of Music in piano performance at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where she studies with Gilles Vonsattel. She is active in both Amherst and the Boston area.
