About

Cosa Nostra Strings is a genre bending quintet (Trombone/bass, violin, viola, cello, and percussion) on Jazz Mafia Records. We perform in in many styles, including jazz, rock, and hip hop. Our string players hold classical degrees from the Peabody Institute and San Francisco Conservatory. At Groupmuses, expect a mix of classical arrangements, early dance music written for open instrumentation, and original compositions by members of the group.
