About

The Witches curate new music performances that weave together new and old music, commissioned pieces for their group, and free improvisations. They are continuously looking for opportunities to bring social commentary and exchange to the forefront of their musical projects, and strive to create an atmosphere with their music where beauty and ugliness, orderly and wild, can come face to face. Ledah Finck (violin/vocals) and Louna Dekker-Vargas (flute, vocals) both have degrees from Peabody Conservatory and studied with Herbert Greenberg and Marina Piccinini (respectively).
