About

We're a loosely bound group of Cleveland-based classical music professionals, presenting concerts in non-traditional venues. Our home base is our bi-monthly appearance at the CLE institution, The Happy Dog. Since 2009, the Cleveland chapter of Classical Revolution has given monthly shows in taverns, art galleries, and other unusual local spots, reaching thousands of ears and enjoying outreach opportunities in schools and at community events.

The majority of our members received training at the renowned Cleveland Institute of Music and other conservatories of the like. We spend our days freelancing, performing, and educating, and our nights sharing the music we love!

Music

Repertoire at recent shows have included:

Haydn Trio Sonatas
Mozart (Divertimenti, Eine Kleine)
Bach (thing Brandenburg 3 and 4)
Plenty of solo instrumental Bach (sonatas, partitas, suites)
Quartets by Philip Glass
Chamber pieces by Gershwin, Copland
For kicks, a few creative arrangements of a few top 40, classic hits, and more. :)
