Virginia holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Sociology from Cal State East Bay University (CA), a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from San Jose State University (CA), and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Bowling Green State University (OH). She currently resides in Malden, and studies privately with Michael Lewin, the piano professor at Boston Conservatory. At SJSU, she had a great honor to not only studied closely, but also played on multiple extremely valuable historic keyboards. She was one of the winners of the French music competition in 2009 at SJSU, and as a result, she performed in the French Music Concert on an 1868 Erard Piano. She also performed on the Erard Piano in the Liszt Festival in 2012. In her graduate studies, She received tuition scholarship for both 2012-13 and 2013-14. She was also the recipient of the 2013 Heidi Fern Clausius Music Scholarship, and she was one of the finalists of the 2013 Art Song Competition. She have taught in numerous music schools - including Kids' N Keyboard Music Center (CA), Cherry Kids' Children Center (CA), Northern California School of Music (CA), and Perrysburg Music Center (OH), Ip Piano School (MA). She is currently a piano faculty of Mozart Academy (MA) and South Shore Conservatory (MA), as well as maintaining her own studio in Malden, MA.
