About

The Omer Quartet, violinists Mason Yu and Erica Tursi, violist Jinsun Hong, and cellist Alex Cox, moved to Boston in 2015 and then Washington DC area in 2017 to pursue their dream to establish the quartet as a professional entity. They are currently graduate ensemble in residence at the University of Maryland, College Park. They have inaugurated a Music for Food concert series, and will have their upcoming Kennedy Center debut February 7, 2019. They are looking forward to connecting to the Groupmuse audience and bringing their music to more of the vibrant community of Washington DC.
