About

Award winning clarinetist, Brennen Milton, has performed in Sacramento, throughout the United States, and abroad. He currently performs as the second half of the instrumental duo Carlos & Brennen, based here in Sacramento, and strives to bring an excellent musical experience to all through performances, coaching, and teaching.
In March of this year Carlos & Brennen were invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City, after winning first place in Chamber music at the Golden Classical Music Awards. Mr. Milton first performed at Carnegie Hall in 2016 where he was invited by the Inter harmony International Music Festival to perform Debussy’s Premier Rhapsody. This year Carlos & Brennen traveled to Las Vegas to give a presentation on How to Overcome Stage Fright for the National Association of Negro Musicians’ 99th annual conference. Most recently Carlos & Brennen opened the 66th season of the Sacramento Community Concerts Association this September.

Music

We play mostly classical repetiore and new instrumental music. Brahms, Messiaen, Weber, and new music by Carlos McMillan Fuentes.
